The South County Community Garden continues the farming tradition at River Farm (1972 photo above), and donates the majority of the food to various community organizations - usually 200+ bushels.
Saturday March 10 - garden startup
We had 25 people at our garden startup meeting - great turnout! It was great to see long-time garden friends again and meet new ones. Thanks to everyone who helped get everything going - we planted 25 flats of seeds and tilled a bunch of fields. Can't wait to see those little seeds start sprouting!
