Winter managed deer hunt info

December Hunting:  Please be advised that managed deer hunting will occur on the River Farm and JBWS proper on the following dates:  Dec 1, Dec 4-7, Dec 11-15 and Dec 18-22, 2017.  Hunting will occur all day (1/2 hr before sunrise to 1/2 hr before sunset).  THE RIVER FARM WILL BE OPEN TO PUBLIC ACCESS ON THESE HUNT DAYS.  You are cautioned to wear bright clothing (i.e. a blaze orange cap, etc.) if you go to the River Farm on these hunt days.  If you have further questions about this December 2017 hunt, you can call 410-222-7300 or go to www.aacounty.org/RecParks.   

January Hunting:  As noted in an email to all of 10/18/17, The River Farm will be closed to public access from 5am to 1pm on Jan 4, Jan 26, and Jan 29, 2018.  In addition, the Glendening Preserve will be closed to public access during the same hours on Dec 6, Dec 15, and Dec 20, 2017 as well as Jan 5, Jan 19 and Jan 24, 2018.
