Tomatoes grown from seed in the greenhouse, then transplanted into larger pots, have grown to a healthy size and adapted to outside temperatures. Our 136 pots of tomatoes and tomatillos are ready to be put in the ground.
The South County Community Garden continues the farming tradition at River Farm (1972 photo above), and donates the majority of the food to various community organizations - usually 200+ bushels.
