The South County Community Garden continues the farming tradition at River Farm (1972 photo above), and donates the majority of the food to various community organizations - usually 200+ bushels.

Community Garden at Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary! The compost is critical in helping us grow vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs at our CSA,
primarily for donation to Anne Arundel County food pantries. We couldn't do it without you!
