South County Community Garden: Sunday April 9

The South County Community Garden continues the farming tradition at River Farm (1972 photo above), and donates the majority of the food to various community organizations - usually 200+ bushels.

Sunday April 9 - more crops in the field

Thanks to everyone who helped plant all the seedlings from the greenhouse (cabbage, spinach, lettuce, rutabaga etc), weed the potato rows, AND plant TWO rows of leeks! Irrigation lines and straw all down too.
