Saturday April 8 seeding the garden

In the greenhouse, the greens and herbs we seeded a few weeks ago are ready for planting, while several more seed trays of peppers, tomatoes and eggplants are waiting to sprout.  Out in the garden, it still looks rather brown, but if you look closely, you can see the peas and onions starting to sprout and the first buds on the blackberry bushes.  On Saturday, we prepped & tilled and then planted 5 1/2 rows of greens (kale, collards, turnips, spinach & radishes) and 5 1/2 rows of various kinds of mustard greens.  We also laid down irrigation lines, but it was too windy to put down straw.

The greenhouse is looking GREEN!
